7 Tips on how to make a window

The time where the window was only a space to place the best product of the store is gone!

More sophisticated retailers have been investing a lot a money on presenting a concept, a style, instead of only presenting product.

Here follow the 7 tips...

1 – Theme

The main objective of a window it's to stop the person that is passing by the store, more than just nice mannequins & nice product today is essential to have a theme, that strikes the attention of the consumer.

2 – Product

When selecting the product normally you should select either the new & fresh of the store or in alternative nice product with a slow rotation that you want to push out. But please make sure window and internal VM are align.

3 – Mannequins

A mannequin must be as much real as possible, you must select a mannequin that looks a real person, select well the positions, put a wig, use make up...the all deal...

4 - Positioning

The mannequins must be positioned accordingly the theme, they also must tell the story.

5 – Prices

Obviously depends on the legislation of each country, but in most countries indicate prices and ways of payment in the window is mandatory.

6 – Illumination
While selecting illumination, try to hide the projectors within the ceiling and try to avoid white light the yellow gives you a much better look & feel of the store & product.

7 – Labels/Alarms

Make sure that you remove al label & alarms form the clothes before you place them in the window, there is nothing worst than see a mannequins full of labels & alarms all over.

Any other suggestion??

Thank you & have a great day!
